Second Season of 'Medalist' Reveals Staff, Teaser Promo for Winter 2026

The official web site of the Medalist tv anime unveiled the manufacturing workers, teaser visible (pictured), and a teaser promotional video for the second season on Sunday. The brand new season is scheduled to premiere on TV Asahi’s NUMAnimation programming block in January 2026.

New workers consists of Hazuki Nakamura as artwork director, changing Youko Nakao and Kentarou Kashiwagi (Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai) changing Shinichi Yoneya as director of pictures. Takasumi Miura replaces Kouki Kanbe as animation producer.

Yasutaka Yamamoto (Noblesse) returns to direct the second season at ENGI. Jukki Hanada (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) is in cost of the sequence composition and script. Chinatsu Kameyama (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. 2) is designing the characters and Yuuki Hayashi (Haikyuu!!) is composing the music.

Medalist adapts Tsurumaikada’s sports activities drama manga, which started in Afternoon journal in Could 2020. Kodansha shipped the thirteenth quantity on June 23.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in March 2021 and shipped the twelfth quantity on June 17.
