Yanai initially penned the journey fantasy gentle novel on the Arcadia web site from 2006 to 2009. AlphaPolis revealed the novel in 5 volumes between April 2010 to December 2011, that includes illustrations by Daisuke Izuka. The Gate Season 2 sequel novel was revealed in 5 volumes from July 2017 to November 2020.
A-1 Photos tailored the unique gentle novel right into a 24 episode tv anime, airing in break up cours in Summer time 2016 and Winter 2016.
Synopsis
